Kristy joined the Freedom Street Partners team in 2021 as the Director of Operations. Her role is critical to our team, ensuring the organization runs efficiently and effectively to best serve our clients and streamline all business efforts. She focuses on project management for key initiatives so that timelines remain on track for prompt completion. Additionally, she has a keen attention to detail and assists with the planning and coordinating of our client and affiliate events.
As a member of our leadership team, Kristy has a passion for elevating others to do their best work by providing the tools, resources, and support to be successful. She naturally gravitates toward taking on many responsibilities at once, which aligns with the nonstop pace that her position requires. She is our team’s central point of contact for our financial advisors and their teams so that support remains consistent and clients receive the ideal experience.
The power of a well-functioning team motivates Kristy. She approaches her role with enthusiasm and is inspired by helping others professionally and personally, deriving a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction from giving, supporting, and being part of something bigger than herself. Raymond James has recognized Kristy’s commitment to her career and our clients through multiple awards, the Robert A. James Award of Service Excellence and the Raymond James Values Award, received in 2014.
Kristy’s background and expertise in the industry are critical to our operations. Before joining our team, she held multiple roles that built her operations expertise. She has spent her entire career in the financial service industry, primarily with Raymond James’ home office in St. Petersburg, FL. She was most recently a Senior Operations Risk Analyst, where she provided extensive operations support across her team. Kristy also served as an Operations Supervisor and Operations Management Specialist. She began her career in 2006 with Morgan Keegan in Memphis, TN, where she was an Annuity Operations Representative and a Senior Customer Accounts Associate. Kristy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Memphis.
I grew up in a military family and lived in many places. I was born in Germany, lived in Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and spent most of my adult life in Tennessee. My husband, Barry, and I moved to St. Petersburg, FL, and never looked back. We love this area of the country and all that it has to offer, from playing tennis, bike riding, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with our friends and family. We also enjoy traveling, experiencing new places, and creating lifelong memories.
Giving back to the community that we love so much is very important to us through volunteer opportunities and helping keep our beaches and parks clean. We especially enjoy volunteering at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and Feeding Tampa Bay.
