I consider myself a high energy achiever and thrive off being productive and active in every facet of my life. I have been the Council President of my church, a board member of various organizations including Rotary (27 years), President of the Michigan City and Culpeper Rotary Foundation, and I serve as the investment advisor to the Unity Foundation of La Porte and Northern Piedmont Foundation. I’m also an active fundraiser and philanthropist to Germanna Community College and Penn State.
Fall weekends are my favorite to cheer on my alma mater and spend time with my family. I also volunteer as a Stephen Leader at my church. My passion for classical music keeps me active with the Culpeper Music Society and overseeing the scholarship committee and planning the concerts.
I enjoy exploring my creative side for a change of pace and attend symphony concerts, traveling to some of my favorite destinations such as Europe to tour art museums or the islands to spend time on the beach to relax and expand my photography skills.
As much as I enjoy the activities that I'm a part of and connecting with the people in our community, nothing compares to my life's joy and my proudest accomplishment, my daughter, Rachel. She earned her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and also earned a Masters of Public Administration ‘13 from Penn State. In 2016, I was delighted to become a grandmother for the first time when my grandson was born. In 2018, our family grew again, when Cullen’s baby brother, Grady, joined our family. We are a proud Penn State family raising future Nittany Lions!
