I was born and raised in Erie, PA and now live in Suffolk, VA, with my wife, Hayley, and our pets, who we adore! We have a Boxer named Bo and three cats: Aurora, Leia, and Nala. Hayley and I had an exciting start to our marriage when I proposed to her in 2020 live on the Today Show at the ice skating rink in Rockefeller Center in NYC. It was an experience that I will never forget for many reasons and a great way to start the next chapter in our lives.
I’m a sports fanatic and spend some of my free time watching or playing sports. I played hockey through college and still try to now and then. I also try to be active in our community, especially where I live and work. I have a passion for helping animals as well as underserved communities. I’m involved in a variety of organizations, including the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, where I serve as the 2022 Board Chair-Elect and will serve as the 2023 Suffolk Division Board Chair. I also serve as a board member for the Suffolk Humane Society as well as a member of The United Way of South Hampton Roads – African American Leadership Society, The United Way of South Hampton Roads – Young Philanthropists, CBDX, Suffolk Ruritans, and the St. Jude Children Research Hospital’s Hampton Roads Annual Walk/Run.
